Book Accommodation from your Mobile Phone

Rydges Esplanade Resort Cairns has become the first property within Rydges Hotels and Resorts to take a mobile phone booking which came to fruition last night, with the arrival of Mr Craig Archer.
After successfully using his mobile phone to book accommodation in Cairns, Mr Archer was welcomed by Rydges Esplanade Resort’s Executive Assistant Manager, Wayne Woods.
Rydges Hotels and Resorts recently launched Australia’s first mobile phone reservation system, m.rydges.com for guests who are nowhere near a computer yet need accommodation, or directions to one of Rydges hotels.
The only requirement to use this new booking system is a mobile device that can browse the world wide web and to be a member of Rydges Priority Guest program - that is free of charge to join.
Rydges do not charge for this service, however mobile phone operators charges for using the internet will apply. Costs vary from operator to operator.
