Gladstone set to be Liquefied Natural Gas hub Posted: Wednesday, 16 January 2008
Gladstone is set to be the hub for a $400 million Liquefied Natural Gas facility. Perth based LNG Ltd. wants to build the million tonne a year facility at Fishermans Landing.
The company is aiming for financial close by late this year, with first LNG shipments scheduled for January 2001.
It has been reported that it has received several expressions of interest from numerous existing LNG buyers.
