Rydges South Bank’s Executive Chef, Todd Farr has created and released a new Parklands Bar & Grill a la carte menu to satisfy our cooler weather tastes.
Below is a sneak preview of the new menu to tickle your tastebuds:
STARTERS -Freshly shucked “Kinkawooka” oysters, mignonette dressing -French onion soup, gruyere croute -Seared scallops, wakame, ginger, cucumber, lime -Ham hock, foie gras, green peppercorn terrine, piccalilli, country bread -Tartlet of nashi pear, san daniele prosciutto, rocket, fresh fig, persian feta, fig vincotto -Cured wagyu tri tip, celeriac remoulade, candied walnuts, truffled vinaigrette, baby herbs -Gnocchietti, braised beef cheek, ligurian olives, peas, pecorino -Pan-fried whiting, corn crab cake, burnt orange emulsion
MAINS -Orrechetti pasta, broccolini flowers, peas, feta, pine nuts & lemon -Grilled scampi, chilli & white anchovies, pappardelle, vine tomato, basil -Market fish of the day, artichoke and fennel barigoule, chorizo, soft herbs -Highland country pork cutlet, parmesan salardaise potatoes, spiced apple -Inglewood baby chicken, fricassee of peas, tomato, morels and garlic, truffle pesto jus -Aged porterhouse, nicola potato champ, new season asparagus, sauce béarnaise
SIDES -Potato champ -Grilled asparagus, goat’s cheese, pine nuts -Broccolini, fresh peas, mint -Tomato, buffalo mozzarella, basil -Rocket, truffled pecorino, aged balsamic
DESSERTS -Vanilla bean crème brulee, pistachio and almond biscotti, lemon raspberry ice cream -Warm white chocolate and mango fondant, chocolate sauce and cherry ripe ice cream -Caramelised cardamom and citrus tart, vanilla bean anglaise and pistachio nut ice cream -Toasted fruit consommé, poached pear, forest berry ice cream -Trio of chocolate for two; Bitter chocolate tart, Tim Tam ice cream, chocolate raspberry brownie, caramel and chocolate sauce, White chocolate rose, white chocolate and mango sherbet -Plate of assorted petit fours and chocolates for two -Selection of artisan cheese pear jam, fruit and nut bread
