Ten Months out from next year's V8 race, the "full house" sign is already up a month the city's hotel and accommodation providers. The rush on hotel rooms means that tens of thousands of motor sport fans will have to be accommodated in nearby towns and others will be housed at a tent city at the Showgrounds. Others will rely on friends and family to put them up for the weekend.
All but a handful of the city's 2232 rooms have been snapped up for the weekend of July 10 for the 3 day event. Hoteliers said they had never experienced such demand.
