Tasmania grows some of the world’s best brewing barley, the highlands abound in rich peat, the water is soft, clean and pure, and the temperature and humidity create a climate that is well suited to the production and maturation of fine malt whisky in the same manner Scotch malt whisky is produced.
Located next to the Tasmanian Travel Centre just a short 1.8 km walk from Rydges Hobart and adjacent to Constitution Dock, the working distillery is open for tastings and sales of their single malt Whiskey, Pepperberry Liqueur and other unique Tasmanian spirits.
