Bell City: Open 1st August 2008
Located centrally between Melbourne CBD and Melbourne International airport, the new Bell City precinct will be the most exciting development to open in the Northern suburbs in 2008. The multi-purpose Bell City project, a redevelopment of the PANCH hospital on Bell Street will open for business in August 2008.
The site will house the new development including the addition of the tower 1 accommodation block of 383 four star Manhattan rooms. Within this complex will be the Rydges Bell City and Rydges Residences Bell City styles of accommodation suited to the overnight or extended stay corporate and leisure traveller.
Additional to the new accommodation tower will be the new Chill restaurant and bar, sports bar and TAB, Bell City Pantry Café and convenience store, Bell City Events Centre and Asian Pacific Business Centre & Offices.
Occupying the site already and open for business since 2004 will be the rebranded economy accommodation tower 2 accommodating the student market in Le Student 8 and the budget conscious traveller in the Sleep & Go brand.
The end product will be a very exciting one for all involved with two separate towers of 827 guest rooms combined accommodating both the four star and three star market whilst offering a quality upmarket restaurant, bar, café, conference centre, convenience store and office space to all visiting the site.
