Rydges Auckland aims high with a luxurious new addition.

After an extensive refurbishment in 2007, Rydges Auckland is going even bigger and better with Stage II: a luxurious nine-level addition.
The new Hobson Street Tower will be sited directly alongside the existing hotel. By completion in late 2009, the two buildings will join together, creating a 269 room urban oasis.
The number of rooms will increase by a third, with many of the spacious new suites boasting breathtaking views of the harbour and beyond (not to mention contemporary décor and the latest creature comforts).
And that’s just for starters. The restaurant and bar facilities will almost double, while a refurbished entrance and lobby will make room for a stylish café at street level. Two floors of conference facilities with state-of-the-art equipment and a multitude of function rooms will complete the picture.
During the renovations, the hotel will be fully operational, with the transformation taking place behind the scenes. When it comes to our renowned warm welcome, friendly service and attention to detail, it’ll be business as usual at Rydges Auckland.
