Based on extraordinary real events in Manchester in 2003, this stunning work delves into the mind of a teenage chat room junkie: a modern boy, remarkably clever and longing for connection, who spins a web of deceit that destroys two lives - all for the glory of love.
He is 14 - year old Johnny. He wants to be someone, and online he can be anyone he wants. He says he's a bigger liar than Shakespeare himself, and we have to believe him.
This inspired Australian play is driven by an urgency and vernacular that plunges us headlong into a vortex of online love.
