Sebastian is a terminally unpopular fifteen - year old kid, with an overactive imagination and an obsession with anime and death. His only friend, Claryssa, is an emo Wiccan art-freak barely one rung higher than Sebastian on the social ladder.
What starts as another night drinking down at the cricket nets soon gives way to an ecstatic vision that leaves Sebastian unconscious and their friendship left in ruin. The next morning, he wakes up with a mysterious moth in a jar by his bed, and a calling to save the souls of all human kind. And so begins the Passion of Sebastian....
Having played three sell out seasons at Melbourne's Malthouse Theatre, as well as selling out the Sydney Opera House , Moth is sure to be an incredible and unforgettable experience.
Nominated as Best New Australian Work at the 2011 Helpmann Awards (National Industry), winner of three 2011 Green Room Awards including Best new writing for the Melbourne stage and the 2010 Malcolm Robertson Prize, Moth is bound to leave you breathless.
