It’s long, it’s fast, it’s early and it makes your eyes water and thighs burn. It’s the annual Thredbo Top to Bottom race.
Proudly supported by Rossignol and Toyota and in its 17th year, the Thredbo Top to Bottom race is all about speed. Riders negotiate gates and long downhill stretches over a leg burning 672 vertical metres making the Top to Bottom race Australia’s longest vertical drop ski and snowboard race.
With a total prize pool of over $18,000, this event is hotly contested, with previous winners shooting down the 3.7km course in around 3 minutes.
Race categories include the skiing men’s open, amateur and veteran, women’s snowboard and men’s snowboard.
