The Lobethal Grand Carnival, to be conducted by Vintage Motorsport Carnivals Pty Ltd., and will be run in conjunction with Sporting Car Club of SA Inc.
The format is full-lap, closed road demonstrations on the original 14km Lobethal Race Circuit over the October weekend.
Racing and competition sports cars and motorcycles of the 1938-1948 period, will take once more to what has been regarded as Australia's greatest-ever motor racing circuit.
Some 60 years after the last event in 1948, and a healthy 70 years after the inaugural South Australian GP of 1938, Lobethal comes to life again with the sound of engines roaring.
After a full day of racing excitement what better way to unwind than with an evening at the Rydges Southpark Adelaide.
