EarthCheck is used by travel and tourism organisations around the world, to validate their carbon claims and guide their sustainability initiatives. It is the largest environmental benchmarking, certification and management solution in use by the industry.

Rydges Hotels and Resorts partnership with EarthCheck commenced over two years ago. In that time close to 50% of the portfolio have achieved benchmarked status. Remaining properties are in the process of completing the Earthcheck Certification process. Rydges Lakeside was awarded the National Award in 2009 for best environmental practices.
