Once upon a time this venue was an institution within the Melbourne club scene which began in 1990 and ran for thirteen years with people still talking about it nearly 20 years on! Nowadays, Bobby McGee's opens exclusively for private events and functions with a capacity to hold up to 250 for a sit down dinner and a party for 550, all yours for a night of super fun!
Bobby McGee's is famous for being a little bit different. The venue is already themed, with everything you need to have a great night’s entertainment. Featuring three separate, fully operational bars - you can even have one bar exclusively as a cocktail bar showcasing some of Melbourne’s finest mixologists.
You can also enjoy one of the many fantastic themes we can create for your next event! Some of our currently popular themes are:
Gangsters & Molls, Hawaiian Beach Party, Moulin Rouge, Country & Western, Masquerade Medieval Madness, Chicago, Swinging 70’s or Retro 80’sor The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party.
