The Rydges brand has landed in the South Pacific. |
Rydges Hotels and Resorts has announced that it is bringing its renowned hospitality brand to the South Pacific after securing the rights to manage the Hideaway Resort Fiji. The 115-room resort will be rebranded as Rydges Hideaway Resort Fiji from 29 October 2008.
The resort is the first purchased by the Fiji Teachers Union Co-operative Thrift and Credit Society Ltd and is located on the sandy white beaches of Fiji’s Coral Coast, one hour’s drive from Nadi. The resort offers rooms with lagoon views, lush garden views, beachfront villas and bures, two restaurants and a bar, swimming pool, kids club and activities including tennis, archery and diving.
Mr David Seargeant, Managing Director of Rydges' parent company Amalgamated Holdings Limited commented: “Our expansion into the South West Pacific with our first resort in Fiji truly complements our vast portfolio of hotels and resorts.
