When you arrive at Rydges South Bank you can park a vehicle outside the hotel on Glenelg Street and parking will be looked after. Just inside the door on your left is the porter and concierge desk - drop luggage there and head over to the reception area to check in. Concierge, Colin, is a wealth of information. You can also enter the hotel from Grey Street - by the separate entrance or by cutting through the CBD Cafe Bar and Restaurant.

Looking out at Grey Street from the CBD, the conference centre, QPAC, museum and art galleries are to the left, as is South Brisbane train station (currently closed for renovation, so head right to South Bank Station).

Also to the right you will find myriad restaurants and cafes (40+) in Grey Street and parallel Little Stanley Street (closer to the river). It can be a little overwhelming but for good Turkish, Ahmets... for value French, Piaf and for Modern Australian and Australia's largest selection of wines by the glass, 5^th Element.

To the right, and across the road in Grey Street, there is a Westpac ATM and a 7/11 Convenience Store.
