World Of WearableArt™ (WOW®) is on the road with the first stop being here at our very own Rotorua Museum. An assortment of the greatest costumes from their historic collection will be showcased in the exhibition Off the Wall: World of WearableArt™.
Wellington's 3D Creative, in union with the WOW® team, has created an innovative and interactive show displaying 30 remarkable garments, all of which will tell their own story relating to design, ingenuity and innovation necessary to produce wearable art to a competition winning standard.
In addition, a compilation of these garments will be accompanied by the work of a major New Zealand artist, including Bill Hammond, Grahame Sydney and Timo Ranneli, adding another level of storytelling to each piece.
Adult entry into Rotorua Museum is $18. Rotorua residents receive free admission with proof of ID.
