One of the biggest sporting clashes on the Australian calendar is coming to Wellington. The St Kilda Saints will take on the Sydney Swans in a historic game of AFL football on Anzac Day, April 25th. The game will be the first ever AFL clash played outside of Australia as part of the premiership season and will form part of the Anzac Day activities to honour the servicemen and women who have given their lives to protecting both great countries.
St Kilda is a club steeped in history as one of the inaugural AFL teams and will celebrate its 140th birthday in 2013. Led by captain Nick Riewoldt, the Saints will be looking to defeat the reigning AFL premiers in this historic clash.

Phantom of the Opera
The Phantom, at last, comes to Wellington

Wellington Marathon
Sunday the 23rd of June, the streets and footpaths of Wellington will be taken over by runners. The 2013 Armstrong Motor Group Wellington Marathon starts at Westpac stadium and winds its way, past Rydges Wellington, and around the scenic waterfront.
This annual event has been running (no pun intended) for almost 30 years and has no intention of slowing down. An estimated 5000 runners will take part in the marathon, either participating in the full marathon, half, 10k or kids run.

Game of Things - Bats Theatre

Yes, Prime Minister
Adapted from the 1980's hit BBC television show, 'Yes, Minister', 'Yes, Prime Minister' features the same wit and deliciously awkward marriage between civil servants and politicians that made the orginal sitcom an instant success.

Beervana 2013
