Our self-contained conference centre can cater for up to 230 conference guests. Everything you need is located on the one floor including five conference spaces, a dedicated catering kitchen and an on-site audio visual technician.

For all Wellington events, Rydges has the perfect venue and service for you. 

Looking for a venue for your upcoming Wellington event — be it a Christmas party, birthday, dinner or special occasion? Look no further than Rydges Wellington - the capital's leading hotel for luxury and excellence.

Our three function spaces can accommodate up to 40 for a seated dinner or up to 60 for a standing cocktail function. Our executive chef can provide a selection of menus for your consideration, including specialty menus which cater towards specific dietary requirements.

For your larger Wellington events or celebrations, the Grand Space can comfortably accommodate up to 230 delegates in a seated banquet setup. Our team can provide you with everything you need to run the event, and can also recommend theming options to help give your Wellington events the "wow factor".

We offer a dedicated wedding coordinator for hire, who alongside our friendly team will be with you all the way to treat your big day with the attention to detail that it deserves.

Our Grand Space is ideal for wedding receptions, catering up to 230 guests.

Our smaller space caters for up to 40 guests, making for an intimate wedding with close family and friends, this is a stylish and sophisticated option. We also have the option of our newly refurbished Portlander Bar & Grill for contemporary Weddings.

Subject to availability and for new event bookings only made between 1 January 2015 and 31 December 2015 and consumed between 1 January 2015 and 31 December 2016. Offer applies to wedding events only, block out dates may apply and a minimum numbers of guests are required – see each Hotel for required numbers.
