Rydges Sydney Airport also features one of the most enjoyable Sydney restaurants you can find. Since we’re located so close to the Sydney Airport, some may consider it a part of Sydney Airport’s restaurants. One great thing about our welcoming bar and restaurant is that it’s open every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Dinner – 5.30pm till 10pm
Blackwattle Grill
Every hotel needs its signature restaurant and ours is the Blackwattle Grill. This restaurant has an urban-bistro aesthetic, inspired by the critically acclaimed Gowings Bar and Grill in the QT Sydney.
With it’s bentwood chairs, industrial-style lighting, and sleek darkly tiled open kitchen, the Blackwattle Grill will lift the quality of airport precinct dining choices to a whole new level. This will be a showcase of Australian produce and flavours, from our world-famous Black Angus Beef, to mouth-watering Sydney rock oysters.
And we’ll be using a wood-fired grill to seal in those quintessential Australian flavours.
Blackwattle Grill will specialise in mod-oz cuisine with a seafood accent, treating our guests to such culinary delights as native rainbow trout, local blue-swimmer crab and iconic Crystal Bay prawns.
Those guests who would prefer a lighter meal can choose from the more casual side of the menu, featuring options such as sliders with wagyu on sourdough, and minute-steak sandwiches, prepared by our chefs with all the attention our guests would expect.
Our sommelier may suggest a fine Australian drop from our glass-fronted wine wall, to complement the meal. Maybe a Yarra Valley pinot, aged Hunter Semillon, or Margaret River chardonnay?
We’ll also have a wide choice of Australian craft beers and boutique ciders available, from as far afield as Fremantle and the Fleurieu Peninsula.
The emphasis on quality local produce will also feature on our 24-hour room service menu, and even extend to our mini-bars. Few things say Australia more clearly to a homesick traveller than a Coopers Pale Ale and a Caramello Koala.

Touchdown Sports Bar
It’s like grand final day 24/7 at Touchdown Sports Bar. Step inside and it’s impossible not to get swept along by the dynamic atmosphere, colour and neon.
With its team of energetic staff in their cheeky cheerleader uniforms, Touchdown will be the sports bar of choice for guests and their families, airport employees and business people.
Touchdown doesn’t take itself too seriously. It’s young at heart and a whole lot of fun, with booth seating and more than its fair share of winning smiles.
However it sets the bar high when it comes to providing a gold-medal menu. Calamari, fries, burgers and hot dogs. This is the kind of comfort food that folks want to share with their mates, to watch the football...the motor racing...or the rugby...
And there’ll be plenty of ice-cold Aussie beer on tap to help our guests celebrate when their favourite side wins.
In keeping with its name, Touchdown will boast over-sized plasma monitors, showing all the latest sports from around the globe. While airport information, flights, delays etc, will scroll across the bottom of the screen.
At Touchdown, we’re always aiming for a podium finish.
