Located in the heart of the village Cascades is a long time favourite and one of Thredbo’s most renowned restaurants. Known for great food and friendly attentive service, Cascades picked up the award for the Best Regional Brasserie/Cafe in NSW at the Australian Hotels Association Awards 2006. Executive Chef Jean-Michel's broad repertoire is a result of extensive work experience in Europe, Asia and Australia and he creates menus that change with the seasons to reflect the freshest produce available. Segreto is an intimate dining experience; The fine cuisine is carefully prepared and inspired by the cuisine of the central regions of Italy using delicious local and imported produce. Segreto was awarded as the best dining experience in a Snow Resort in this country by the Industry in 2005, and regular events include a series of hosted Winemakers Dinners in August - not to be missed. Reservations are highly recommended

Reasonably priced family fare. Offering light snacks all day, Counter style lunches from 12noon to 2.30pm, dinner from 6pm to 9pm. Adult fare includes Burgers, Steaks, Fish, Sandwiches and other favourites. Friday night the Bistro is transformed into our own "Fish & Chip Shop" for eat in or take away, Saturday is "Curry Night" and Sunday a traditional Roast Dinner is available. Relax on our huge deck and soak up the sun and mountain views or have a game of pool or a friendly chat by the fire. Great for all ages.
