Located in Camp Hill on the south side of the city, this new establishment comes with heavyweight credentials and has created quite a stir since its opening in 2004. Ex E’cco staffer and owner Paul McGovern and his partner Prue, have, in Restaurant Rapide created a perfect suburban bistro.
Simple clean flavours in a tight Modern Australian themed menu are the order of the day. It’s singularly lacking in pretension, but with a strong emphasis on genuine hospitality. One day it would be nice, if all suburbs could have a local restaurant to match.
