Sunbar

This is the original home to the Daily and Sunday Sun newspapers, but the newsprint is long gone and has been replaced by one of Brisbane funkiest bar & restaurant complexes. Spread over two levels and with a distinctly futuristic design, which attempts to channel elements of both Austin Powers and Barbarella, Sunbar is justifiably popular.
The Brunswick Street bar allows patrons to gaze at the human traffic along Brisbane’s main party highway whilst The Solar private dining room would make Stanley Kubrick proud with its 2001 overtones. Young, loud and a good night out.
