Kookaburra River Queens

Built in 1986 and 1988, the authentic paddlewheelers played a major role in the popular World Expo 88 held at South Brisbane (now South Bank Parklands).

The classic elegant decor and famous Queensland hospitality on-board the River Queens will ensure a truly delightful and unique experience, taking you back to an opulent bygone era. As you cruise the Brisbane River, guests will admire the unique beauty and versatility of the Kookaburra Queens which were built with traditional Australian timbers.

Recently taken over by long-term operator of Brisbane Cruises, Captain Jim Kelly, the boats are enjoying an extensive ongoing renovation program, as well as the introduction of new young chef, Matt Dickson, creating fabulous seafood buffets. The great feedback we are receiving from all out passengers is a testament to the new improved Kookaburra River Queen product. We hope to see you on board soon for a memorable cruise.
