Silo

A local’s local and one of our favourites. In essence, Silo is a cracking bakery, but luckily it also has serious foodie overtones and ambitions. Canberrans descend en masse for wicked bread, cakes and pastries, but if you’ve time, it’s well worth staying and sampling the breakfast and lunch menus. The winter menu showcases strong and gutsy flavours much needed in the chilly times whilst summer offerings are a subtler affair. Best of all, you can also purchase and take home some of the best wines and cheeses we’ve seen or tasted.
