This bar is bit of a contradiction in terms. Its large and funky warehouse space also serves up some of the city’s most authentic Thai cuisine. Although its urban and edgy combination of bar, restaurant and cocktail lounge predominantly attracts a hip and young crowd, Cookie offers a real slice of Melbourne as it has a relaxed, egalitarian ambience which makes everyone feel welcome. A night out here with great food and a cool crowd can occasionally become a very lively experience especially if the resident DJ’s are on form.
