In a charming and tranquil Asian influenced space, owner and Chef David Coomer continues to produce some serious and sublime culinary creations which artfully combine French technique with “Pacific Rim” influences. Using the freshest ingredients his menus change with regularity although favourites such as crisp aromatic duck with sweet & sour mandarin sauce are nearly always featured. The dessert menu is the stuff of legend and when combined with a superb wine list and fantastic staff make a night out a Star Anise a treat albeit not cheap.
