Some complain about its suburban location and it’s bloody noisy when it’s full, but this tiny and occasionally frenetic bistro cum restaurant wears its UK influence with pride. A smaller sibling to its award winning owner and chef Matthew Kemp’s Balzac, (also in the same suburb and well worth a look) the focus here is great value modern European fare served in a relaxed and charming manner. If you’re lucky and snaffle one of the two outside tables, bring along a quality BYO wine and enjoy simple, but beautifully crafted dishes.
