The Oaks

With a history that stretches back well over one hundred years, The Oaks is the definitive North Shore institution.

Generations have come to this large, rambling establishment to share a drink and laugh with friends in the Garden Palace Bar and adjoining Beer Garden. In the midst of the expansive beer garden stands the huge oak tree, planted in 1938, from which the pub derives its name.
