This upper North Shore institution’s been pulling in punters for over 125 years and with the enviable location it enjoys, it’s very easy to see why it’s so popular.
The huge beer garden, which overlooks Pittwater across to Ku–ring-gai Chase National Park, is large enough to house three separate kids playgrounds. Once the kids are occupied, adults are free to imbibe in a few drinks or grab something to eat from the choice of restaurants.
The recent extensive renovations have seen the addition of an all-weather dining area, but the Newport Arms really comes alive on a day when the sun’s up or a night when the stars are out.
