Bridge Climb

Rated by many as a ‘must do’ (well at least once in your lifetime) BridgeClimb is a slick and professional operation that has guided over 1,000,00 people over Sydney Harbour Bridge’s fabled arch.

For the climb, which now runs from dawn until well past dusk, you’ll need to book a time. The whole experience takes about three and a half hours, which includes a full safety briefing and a breathalyser test! Groups of walkers, all of whom are required to wear a rather fetching grey ‘bridgesuit’, are escorted initially under the roadway gantry before climbing a pylon to start ascending to the main arch. The cost varies according to the time or day you choose and the climb continues to operate in virtually all weather conditions.

The 360-degree panoramic views of the city and wider Sydney basin are fantastic, but on a clear cloudless day, they can be truly stunning.
