Luna Park

Ipod friendly guides | Email to a friend | Print article

Luna Park is a definite Sydney institution.

For over 70 years it has welcomed generations of Sydneysiders who access the park attractions and funfair rides via its comical entrance gates. The park has had a chequered and occasionally controversial history and fell into disrepair during the 1980s. Its refurbishment and re-opening caused some angst amongst some of the area’s new residents, but many are happy to see the Park’s famous face once again smiling.
If dodgems and rollercoasters are not your thing, the park does have a great location and offers spectacular views of the Harbour Bridge and city skyline.
