Rose Seidler House

Few architects’ work arouse as much passion and debate as Harry Seidler. His towering legacy is on show throughout Sydney ranging from the truly awful Blues Point Tower to the fluid and graceful lines of The Horizon Apartments building. Other major works include the MLC Tower and Australia Square office complexes.
However, his first major commission was a house for his parents, which is now seen as a true post modernist masterpiece. Located in leafy Turramurra, the house has been acquired by The Historic House Trust of NSW and is presented in its fully furnished 1950s glory. The furniture collection is considered to be amongst the very best in the country.
