The Best Rate Guarantee does not apply to unpublished rates. Unpublished rates
include privately negotiated rates, packaged rates, rates involving a prepaid
voucher program, hotel rooms sold as part of a travel package, and rates not
available to the general public. Rates not available to the general public
include corporate discount rates, group rates, meeting rates, any rates
requiring membership in a club, or other organization where the rates are
targeted specifically toward a specific group of individuals and not intended
for the general public.
The type of room for which the application of the guarantee is sought must be
the same room type as booked on the Rydges.com site and must be for the same
number of guests.
The guarantee does not apply if the lower rate is achieved via a currency
conversion and when comparing rates both rates must either have tax included or
exclude tax to ensure fair comparison.
Should the cheaper rate be the result of a third party reseller selling Rydges
rooms at a loss, we are unable to extend the guarantee benefits.
How to make a claim
In order for us to verify a Best Rate Guarantee Claim we need you to action the
following steps:

Complete the online Best Rate Guarantee Claim Form within 24 hours after making
the original reservation through the Rydges branded website, and before
arriving at the participating Rydges Hotel or Resort, otherwise we will be
unable to process your request.

Provide documented evidence to support the availability of the cheaper
Competing Rate, including: A screenshot that proves that the rate is available
(ie. The credit card information page that shows the rate, room type, dates,
etc) or a copy of the advertisement or printed material with the lower rate
including the terms and conditions of sale.

Rydges Central Reservations Office will verify the validity of your claim and
respond to you within 48 hours of receiving the form. Should you wish to check
on your claim please call 1300 857 922 (Rydges Central Reservations Office
hours (EST) 8am to 8pm Monday - Friday)

If your claim is successful, on check-out at the Rydges Hotel, you will
automatically receive one night’s accommodation free of charge as promised by
our Best Rate Guarantee. This is for one night only of any stay duration and is
for room only. No incidentals (food and beverage, mini bar, in room movies) are
included in the best rate guarantee.
