Rydges Auckland is proud to support the IRB Junior World Championship 2014 and is excited to welcome the future stars of rugby to New Zealand for the event.

IRB Junior World Championship Rugby followers will tell you that the best running rugby that shows off skill and risk happens at two levels – elite international rugby at All Black level and the best schoolboy rugby… this event has the potential to deliver both in the one match.

The best young rugby players in the world will make up 12 teams will play 30 action packed matches from 2 June - 20 June. The pool matches and playoffs will be at ECO Light Stadium, Pukekohe and QBE Stadium, North Harbour with the finals to be played at Eden Park.

This is the biggest rugby tournament in the world outside Rugby World Cup and the whole rugby world will be watching.

In Pool A – Argentina, Australia, England and Italy… In Pool B - France, Fiji, Ireland and Wales… In Pool C – New Zealand, Samoa, Scotland and South Africa. The match dates are Monday, June 2, Friday, June 6 and Tuesday, June 10 for pool play… the semi-finals will be played on Sunday, June 15 and the finals happen on Friday, June 20.

Tickets start from just $5 for children and $10 for adults. You can secure your seats now at Ticketmaster and one ticket means you can see all three matches on a single day.
