Melbourne’s Albert Park street circuit is the perfect setting for the opening round of the 2013 FIA Formula One World Championship and Rydges Bell City is perfect for people travelling from out of town – handy to both the airport and the city without the CBD bustle.
Aussie fans will see two local heroes on-track again this year with veteran Mark Webber lining up against young-gun Daniel Ricciardo for the second year in a row.
With five FIA Formula One World Champions™ on the grid, it promises to be an electrifying start to the year.
Off-track there is musical action aplenty headed by the king of Aussie rock and roll Jimmy Barnes along with other Aussie legends Daryl Braithwaite, James Reyne, Deisel, Johnny Wonderpants and the Potbelleez. Acts will appear on “Legends Lane Main Stage", smaller stages located around the circuit and on big screens. The Barnsie special one-hour show happens 6:30om Saturday, March 16.
