Finally got to Bacchus Restaurant, Bar & Pool at Rydges South Bank in Brisbane over the weekend.
Simply stunning! Elegant, sophisticated, stylish and cool without a hint of ‘cold’. The staff and the ambience both warm and welcoming.
Chatting with Food & Beverage Manager, Daniel. Like the restaurant – he is young, calm, collected, in control with keen attention to detail. He had just ordered an additional delivery of lemons and mint. There had been a run on a particular cocktail the previous evening!
Interesting that the clientele has changed in the couple of weeks since opening. Initially patrons were more in-house Rydges guests... now that word has spread amongst Brisbane’s foodie set, making a booking is almost essential (and totally essential Fridays and Saturdays).
