There are always festivals, events and attractions aplenty in London and a couple of good ones will wind up on January 27.
One is the London International Mime Festival – this is much more than someone in mime make up pretending to go down stairs or be enclosed in a box – it is physical, imaginative, visual theatre that engages and stimulates – here is a link for more info…
'A breathtaking range of work that reminds us, just once a year, that theatre should engage all the senses' - The Guardian
The other is the Hollywood Costume exhibition, just around the corner from our hotel at the Victoria & Albert Museum. This exhibition explores the important role costume plays in cinema storytelling and there are more than 100 iconic costumes on show, worn by characters like Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, Indiana Jones, Scarlett O’Hara, Jack Sparrow, Darth Vader and Holly Golightly.
