While Rydges Mt Panorama is proud of the Chicane Bar & Grill, we understand that some guests like to get out and explore local dining options.
Dating back to 1853, The Kings Hotel (60 George Street) is one of Bathurst’s original pubs. The restaurant, The Kings Table, gets great reviews – it has been an AHA winner and is recommended by the Sydney Morning Herald’s Good Food Guide.
The hotel was also named by the SMH as one of NSW’s top 6 family friendly pubs for 2014. Congrats! – Here is what Keith Austin, Editor of the Good Food Guide, said:
“Creative, colourful kids' room, great use of a small space. You could easily eat in the upper-storeyed wooden cubby-deck, throwing leftovers down on anyone sitting at the long bench, watching TV or playing computer games. The hotel clearly welcomes young kids in the restaurant, including those who love to stand on their chairs to eat chips.”
The Kids Castle is open for kids aged 2 to 12 for free play during restaurant hours with supervised play on Tuesdfays, Wednesday and Thursdays from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and on Sundays from Noon to 2:00pm for $3 per child.
The Kings Table is open for lunch from Noon to 2:00pm and dinner from 6:00pm to 9:00pm seven days a week. Here is a link to the menu.
