Lord of the Rings: The Two TowersHere’s a huge event – Academy Award winner Howard Shore’s score for Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers played live to the screening of the film.

2013 saw the beginning of this Western Australia Symphony Orchestra journey. Over 4000 people experienced that incredible music treat and it is by popular demand that WASO continues Peter Jackson’s epic trilogy.

The critics raved last year for The Fellowship of the Ring with The West Australian calling it “A thrilling, emotionally satisfying treat… one WASO’s sold-out audiences will long remember.”

Over 200 musicians including WASO and the WASO Chorus will perform on Friday, June 20 and Saturday, June 21 at the Riverside Theatre (Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre). Shih-Hung Young will conduct and the performance will also feature Grace Davidson on vocals and the St George’s Cathedral Choristers.

If you are travelling from out of town for this event, Rydges Perth can look after all your accommodation needs.
