Below is a short video to reinforce what you probably knew already - that Rotorua is NZ’s Coolest Hot Spot…
Rotorua is just two-and-a-half hours from Auckland and has so much to offer visitors - there's the thermal wonderland with its geysers... beautiful lakes and streams brimming with trout... towering Redwood trees... and lots of activities and thrills to get the adrenalin pumping.
A lot of visitors head to Rororua with a single purpose like trout fishing, golf, hunting, spa pampering or mountain biking but you only have two or three days to explore and get a good feel for the place, you will need to take in some thermal activity, Maori culture and an activity or two. For a taste of the geothermal wonderland, the living Maori village of Whakarewarewa is a popular attraction... for some adrelalin adventure perhaps try parasailing, rafting or the river jet... and there's no better place in NZ to enjoy a traditional hangi, entertainment and Maori hospitality. And hangis aside, Eat Street offers plenty of variety in culinary delights - here is a post link.
Any season is a perfect time to visit and Rydges Rotorua will give you the warmest of welcomes and look after all your accommodation needs.
