THE RYDGES POST
Rydges World Square is a walk to so many of Sydney’s top attractions and one of the best of those recently had a name change.
The sensational Sydney Aquarium at Darling Harbour is now the Sea Life Sydney Aquarium – the name change was really just a neat way to announce that they had spent $10million on refurbishment. This is the world’s largest indoor system of Australian marine life in three oceanaria with 60 tanks and walk-through corridors to get up close with some 12,000 creatures form 650 species!
There are sharks, turtles, sea horses, crabs, sharks, all sorts of fish, stingrays, penguins and sharks. Did I mention sharks? The sharks are, of course, a big drawcard – feeding is at 11:00am – and you can pay an additional $15 to feed them yourself from a glass-bottom boat.
Here’s a link to the Sea Life website – educational, fun and simply one of Sydney’s ‘must do’ attractions!
