Now in its ninth year, this free exhibition of local artworks brings together artists from all over North Queensland to exhibit their works.

The showcase of works from Cairns Art Society members who live both locally and in remote areas provides a fascinating perspective of living in the north.  Typically it attracts more than 200 works that include paintings, drawings, ceramics, glass, textiles and photography. There is also a themed sub-exhibition competition, this year being The Circle of Life. The winner will be selected (along with the Top Ten) during the course of the exhibition.

The launch is at 6:00pm on Friday October 18 and it runs until Friday, November 8 (9:30am to 4:30pm weekdays and 10:00am to 2:30pm weekends). You can catch it in Tank 4.
