There are some terrific shows coming soon to St James Theatre Wellington.
The St James Theatre is a stunning, historical performance venue in the heart of the 'Capital of Cool' and it is the permanent home for The Royal New Zealand Ballet with the best stage for dance in the country. The Jimmy Café & Bar is located in the theatre’s grand foyer and opens for breakfast and lunch as well as dinner and drinks on performance nights.
From April 17 to April 26 there is accessible ballet for the whole family with the Royal New Zealand Ballet’s production of Coppélia accompanied by Orchestra Wellington. There’s comedy, mystery, romance and the finest classical ballet – more info here.
On April 27, Steve Earle & the Dukes will rock the house – from all reports, Steve and the band are on fire, performing razor sharp versions of the songs that span an epic career, 15 studio albums and three Grammys – more info here.
