This week, The Hobbit 2 movie is out! The second in the amazing Peter Jackson directed trilogy, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, has opened The Embassy Theatre at the top of Courtney place. The Embassy is the iconic theatre synonymous with the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings films and is just a short walk or taxi from Rydges Wellington. Fitted with Dolby Atmos sound and High Frame Rate 3D, this is the best way to experience the magic of the Hobbit.

Fans will be familiar with the plotline – in this installment the Dwarfs, Bilbo and Gandalf have successfully escaped the Misty Mountains and Bilbo gained One Ring – they all continue their journey to get their gold back from the Dragon, Smaug.

It is rated M for violence and runs 161 minutes.
