Rydges on Swanston provides two seperate, purpose built converence venue locations.  

The entire 4th floor is a dedicated conference & event venue with large plenary venues, concurrent session ability and flexible venue configuration. A large pre-function area is also available for catering or trade displays.

The ground floor conference venues, including the Swanston room is a distraction free, easily accessible venue ideal for achieving meeting, seminar and training event outcomes. With multiple breakout venues and easy to access ground floor location, this venue is perfect for seminar sessions workshops and training events.

Divided into 2 innovative, flexible and modern conference floors we are dedicated to servicing your Conference and Events needs.

The 4th floor is a modern, pillar less, light filled conference and events haven with capacity for over 400 delegates. Our Parkview Lounge has panoramic views over Melbourne’s skyline, the adjacent Lincoln Square Park and opens out onto our Pooldeck Terrace, the perfect location for cocktail parties, lunches and breaks.

The Ground Floor conference and events area offers direct access off Swanston Street and adjoining Blues Bar & Grill. The multifunctional 200 patrons plus Swanston Room and adjoining state of the art boardrooms and lounge area, offers the perfect location for large meetings that require break out areas or for smaller intimate board meetings.

Both levels are flexible in design using bi-fold doors to divide the venue into 2 or 3 functional rooms, catering up to 800 guests over 2 floors including exceptional “break out” areas like the spectacular Parkview Lounge on the 4th floor.
