Dylan Moran - Off the Hook
Dylan Moran, star and creator of TV’s ‘Black Books’ is back in New Zealand with a brand new show, ‘Off the Hook’.
Moran's legendary stand up rants have sold out across the world, cementing this unkempt wordsmith’s reputation as one of the foremost comics of his generation. Ageing, religion, kids, and relationships intertwine with the general absurdities of life. Searing observations and sumptuous imagery, painted across a large fraying canvas with cruel, curmudgeonly 'Moranesque' brush strokes and all delivered with Dylan's renowned, shambolic charm...It's simply unmissable.
His big screen appearances have included ‘Run Fat Boy Run’ ‘Shaun Of The Dead’ and ‘Calvary’.
For any lover of comedy, this is the must see show of 2015. Don’t miss Dylan Moran on his ‘Off the Hook’ tour in August. Hurry, he will sell out!

Last Night of the Proms
The CSO presents series would not be complete without the orchestra’s annual salute to the British musical tradition of Last Night of the Proms. With Union Jack flags at the ready let the pomp and circumstance begin. Proms Maestro, Brian Law leads the orchestra, choir and soloists through a witty evening of great classics and audience fun.
Full voice is mandatory for the British patriotic pieces Land of Hope and Glory, Rule Britannia and Jerusalem and the throwing of streamers is highly encouraged. Add to the mix the beautiful surroundings of the Isaac Theatre Royal and you would almost feel like you were in the Albert Hall.
