An unmissable stop on any Queenstown itnerary. Arrowtown has distinct flavour, it has maintained its unique charm from its original establishment in the early 1860's Goldrush era.

The heart of the town lies in Buckingham Street. Here you will find a procession of small town heritage buildings that stretches into a tree lined avenue of tiny miner's cottages. The buildings in this lovely precinct house shops, galleries, bars and restaurants - many classy, most individual.

Definately recommended for photographers and those seeking a leisure based alternative to Queenstown's adrenaline thrills.
