With 9 flexible private event spaces Rydges Newcastle has the perfect room to suit any size wedding, ranging from an intimate dinner with just your nearest and dearest through to a lavish Ballroom reception of up to 160 guests or a cocktail reception in our Wharf 350 Restaurant overlooking Newcastle Harbour.
Our Spacious suites provide the perfect backdrop to ensure your wedding day is one to remember from start to finish. Providing a relaxing atmosphere for pre wedding pampering with your bridal party through to a romantic Spa Suite for your wedding night. Enjoy the idyllic views of the Honeysuckle waterfront when you choose Harbour Terrace for your outdoor Welcome Function or Wedding Ceremony. Located in the hotels harbour side garden the fresh sea air breezing through emphasises a relaxed festive atmosphere.
Formed by combining the King, Macquarie and Hannell rooms together for a total of 200 square metres, the Ballrooom is the ideal space for the grandest events.
Offering plenty of of natural light, this is an ideal venue for small weddings. Enjoy the privacy of an exclusive pre-function space in which to break-out and mingle over drinks and canapés.
Our Suites are the perfect place to prepare for your special day.
Comprising of two sections of the Ballroom, these spaces offers a flexible 132m2 with state of the art in-built audio visual equipment.
Attached to the King, Macquarie and Hannell rooms, the Pre-Function foyer is the perfect space for your guests to gather prior to your wedding ceremony or reception.
The Hannell Room is located on the ground floor of the hotel and offers direct access to a pre-function foyer with natural light. It can be combined with the Macquarie Room to form a larger event space, or with the Macquarie and King Room to form the Ballroom.
