Badges: When you are booking your accommodation, you will have the option to book accommodation only or have an event badge included.

• A Tech & Innovation, Games, Music or Screen badge is designed to provide access to subject matter-specific content, networking sessions and other associated events. These badges give you access to the SXSW Sydney conference and primary access to all events specifically relating to your selected badge type, as well as secondary access to everything else.
• A platinum badge is the best way to experience everything – the SXSW Sydney conference, the three festivals, all networking sessions, partner activations and the tech and innovation expo. Platinum badge holders will also gain access to Platinum only exclusive events, co-working space, lounge and xpress passes. This year the number of Platinum Badges available for purchase is limited, allowing for more exclusive experiences. At the Games, Music and Screen Festivals there will be a primary and secondary line to assist in crowd management and control access to events. If you want to have primary access for the Games Festival, Music Festival, Screen Festival and their associated events at SXSW Sydney – the Platinum Badge is the way to go.

• Please note each person will need their own badge. When you book your accommodation, please ensure you select the correct amount of people to ensure a badge is allocated. Our team will contact you to arrange which badge you would like and assign your names to a badge.
