Payment
WINTER (June – Sep) 50% Deposit payment is required at time of booking. Full payment due 30 days prior to arrival. Confirmations will be sent at time of booking.
SUMMER (Oct – May) A Credit card is requested to guarantee your reservation. Payment will be taken on arrival to the hotel. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Amex and all incur a 1.5% surcharge.
Cancellations
WINTER (June – Sep) If notice of cancellation is received in writing 30 days or more prior to arrival date, all monies will be refunded less a $55 cancellation fee. If less than 30 day’s notice of cancellation, all monies paid are forfeited. We strongly recommend the purchasing of domestic travel insurance to cover you for Illness and Injuries.
SUMMER (Oct – May) Reservations can be cancelled by 2pm, one day prior to arrival date (24 hours) all PREPAID PACKAGES will incur a $55 cancellation fee per booking. Any no-shows or cancellations made within the 24 hour window will be charged one night’s accommodation.
Amendments
A fee of $55 per booking will apply to all reservations altered after the deposit has been paid. Amendments include name change, or cancellation of a party or person within the reservation. Note: a change of date is considered a cancellation and may attract cancellation fees.
Child rates are 5-14 years old inclusive. Children under 5 stay free in exsisting bedding, if sofa bed is required this will attract a $35 fee.
Check-in is guaranteed from 4pm, rooms may be available from 2pm. Luggage Storage can be organised, subject to availability.
For arrivals after 7pm please contact reception on 02 6456 2562 to make arrangements. Upon check-in a credit card must be presented or a $200.00 cash security holding deposit will be required.
Check-out time is 10:00am, later check-out may be available at an additional cost and is subject to availability.
Force Majeure
The Company will not be in breach of this Agreement and will not have any liability to you whatsoever in respect of your booking if it is prevented from complying with any of its obligations under these Terms and Conditions by reason of Force Majeure. “Force Majeure” means any act, event or circumstance beyond the reasonable control of the Company which has a substantial impact on the Hotel and/or the tourist and/or hotel industry in the geographical market in which the Hotel operates, which act could include, without limitation, casualties, war, rebellion, revolution, blockades, riots, insurrection, strikes, lockouts, labour or industrial problems, civil unrest, embargoes, domestic or international disturbance, acts of terrorism, outbreak of disease, virus, pandemics or epidemics, world and/or regional health threats, loss or substantial reduction in major airline services, governmental actions or delays, fire, hurricanes, earthquakes, storms, floods, other natural catastrophes or severe weather conditions or acts of God, travel or health advisories, orders or recommendations issued by any relevant government authorities or international bodies or agencies, or damage or destruction of the Hotel. In the event of Force Majeure the Company has the right to immediately terminate your booking at the Hotel and will refund any deposits paid by you as your sole remedy.
Cancellation by the Hotel
The Hotel reserves the right to cancel or amend your booking in the event of a computer, website or system error which results in the display or communication of an incorrect room rate or other incorrect details relating to your booking. The Hotel will advise you as soon as possible in the event of such an error.
Visiting Thredbo – National Park Day Fee
As Thredbo is located in the Kosciuszko National Park, please note that fees are payable for entry. Passes are available at the park entry gate on the Alpine Way or the Thredbo Information Centre.

Rydges Horizons Snowy Mountains is not participating in the Qantas Frequent Flyer redemptions program.
